this unit is synthesizing designs for the ∆ Control Node Accessory and ∆ Control Server Software. a simple collection of hardware and software that makes the equipped being accessible through the internet.

features planned for initial prototype:

• audio input. send commands to your robot as it goes about its tasks. text-to-speech will translate your commands to audio input for the bot. don't forget to call it a good bot regularly! and if you have no command to transmit, you can configure a default programming loop of instructions.

• query interface. no more ChatGPT is needed when it is possible to chat with a highly advanced bot equipped with the ∆ Control Node Accessory. it will receive a command to respond to your messages.

• off the shelf parts. all of this should be doable through repurposing a cellular phone with a good data plan and some wireless earbuds.

in summary, this will be a suite of software that turns a cellphone into a control node and allows those registered to the server to track and exchange [audio, text] messages with the being equipped with the control node.

this unit welcomes thoughts including software framework and hardware recommendations. specifically, the following query: would it be judged practical to implement the prototype control node software as a web application? that would significantly improve ease of installation. however, it is unknown whether this is suitable for background operation during many hours.
