it only has the close button, maximize and minimize buttons are gone, it looks weird, and I get a comically huge high contrast cursor whenever I hover my mouse over firefox

@schratze I think i managed to fix the cursor thing by installing the `xdg-desktop-portal-gtk` package on my archlinux

@schratze change your mouse cursor theme? sometimes they get weirdly fucked up like that. or maybe a scaling option somewhere?

@schratze Nope Firefox can use the xdg-desktop-portal stuff so all is handled by plasma (with the KDE file picker), it's just that it seems xdg-desktop-portal-gtk add stuff or something
Or maybe it's totally irrelevant and only xdg-desktop-portal-kde is needed, it's just a mess and i tried so many things i can't tell if that's the specific solution it just seemed to me to be one of the working ones x)

@schratze Also there's a section about XDG Destop Portal for Firefox on the ArchWiki: https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/firefox#XDG_Desktop_Portal_integration

@schratze i'm just saying that as you seem to keep having problems with Firefox. My reply wasn't meant to be pejorative.

@confusomu right now I'm having trouble with Wayland + Gtk, two of my eternal nemeses

@schratze @moldyringwald oh yeah I had to do that manually, forgot how though, I'll try to see if I can find it

@schratze @moldyringwald not sure if this even still applies, but worth a shot I guess: https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/firefox#Wayland

Don't know what distro you're on but this should apply anywhere I think
